Eileen Motter Obituary
Eileen E. Motter, 93, died Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in Findlay. Eileen was born March 16, 1932, in Forest, Ohio, to the late Howard and Geneva (Stanford) Staley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Motter; daughter, Carol Wilmsmeyer; great-granddaughter, Leah Motter; and sister, Vivian (Riegel) Lamb.
She is survived by children, Duane (Cheri), Rodney (Julie), Dwight (Joyce), Susan (Tracy) McAfee, Roger (Cheryl), and Beverly (Lance) Hanners; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Staley and Larry (Ann) Staley; and sister, Shirley (Ted) Morris.
She attended church at Assembly of God for many years. Eileen taught her children about the love of Jesus Christ, and therefore, we know we will see her again in heaven.
Visitation will be from 6–8 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2025, and 10–11 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, with funeral services starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 620 N. Main St., Arlington, OH 45814. Interment will follow at Hueston Cemetery.
Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to Legacy Hospice.
