Edna Marie Sadler

Edna "Marie" Sadler, 72, of Findlay, passed away at 3:48 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

She was born April 3, 1951, in Johnson City, New York, to Walter Joseph and Edna L. (Meeks) Sadler Sr.

She is survived by her brothers, David L. (Mary) Sadler of Findlay and Walter Joseph (Marilyn) Saddler Jr. of Williston, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John L. Sadler.

Marie will be forever remembered for her free spirit and contagious laugh. She loved music and painting and was a very talented artist. She enjoyed the people and the work she did with Awakening Minds Art. She was employed by Blanchard Valley Industries as well as New Vision and Bridges for Freedom. She loved to shop and enjoyed going out to eat and getting her hair and nails done. Marie was a fashionista and loved to compliment others on their clothing style. She was also a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio, 45840 with a rosary - prayer service beginning at 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, until the time of Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 617 West Main Cross Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840, with Msgr. Mike Hohenbrink and her brother, Deacon David Sadler, officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marie's name are suggested to Awakening Minds Art, 1640 Tiffin Ave., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
