Donald Hanes Obituary

I have such wonderful memories of Mr. Hanes from my childhood; playing touch football and having fun at the Hanes' home with Brook and his brothers Nathan and Duncan. I offer my deepest condolences to Mrs. Hanes and her sons from Christopher Morgan and on behalf of my mother Barbara.

The sweetest man. I think I´ve known him most of my life, as they were our next door neighbors when us kids were growing up. We send our deepest sympathies, love a prayers to the entire family. He will be greatly missed! Hugs to Marie, the boys and their families.

My deepest sympathy to your family on losing Don. I remember Don through Dunkin Donuts when I was younger. Both of my parents worked there - Bob and Betty Ulrich. They both spoke very highly of Don and how much they enjoyed working for him. He was always so kind and friendly whenever I would stop into the shop. Prayers for you all! Hold your memories close to your heart and know that he is at peace now.

My deepest sympathy. Don was a wonderfully sweet man . I will be forever grateful to him . He took a chance on a young woman needing a job and doing that job is how I met my husband. Was even so kind to supply wood for the fireplace for our wedding reception. Ken and I will be forever grateful having met at the donut shop . 32 years later we have 3 beautiful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren it would not have been possible if he didn´t take a chance on a young girl newly on my own

I had the pleasure of meeting Don in the mid 70's when he hired me at Tri County National Bank in Fostoria. He was a very kind and thoughtful man. Our deepest condolences to Marie and family. May the Lord wrap you in his loving arms during this time.

Don was a caring person who will be missed greatly by his family and friends. In his quiet way, he was a strong man who knew how to live and love. My sympathy goes out to all of you. Now he is in God's care.
