Dolores Mary McCamey

Dolores Mary McCamey, 89, of Findlay, passed away at 8:51 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Birchaven Village Home, Findlay.

She was born Nov. 24, 1933, in Hammonsburg, to Joseph and Irma (Vannievwkerke) Busch.

Dolores was a 1951 graduate of North Baltimore High School. She married George E. McCamey on June 27, 1953, and he preceded her in death May 21, 2012. Dolores worked for Dr. Frank R. Cosiano as a medical assistant for many years. She was an lifelong bowler and golfer, playing in both single and double leagues with her husband. Each fall, Dolores and George would travel to North Carolina with a group of friends to play golf. She greatly enjoyed knitting and crocheting, as well as sewing clothing for many years. Dolores was a long-time member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Findlay, faithfully serving as an Eucharistic Minister for many years.

Dolores is survived by her sons, Timothy D. McCamey, of Findlay and Kevin J. (Michelle) McCamey of Bellbrook; daughters, Teresa "Terrie" J. Stockmaster of New Washington, Valerie L. (Richard) Ulmes of Findlay, and Rebecca S. (Charles) Stahler of St. Paris; grandchildren, Brian, Andrew, Ashley, and Amanda Stockmaster, Hillary (Jason) Midgley, Matthew (Jinky) Ulmes, Joshua (Savannah) McCamey, Daniel (Laura) McCamey, Michaela (Jared) Metropulos, Samuel (Morgan) McCamey, and Holly, Joseph, Kenneth, and Shannon Stahler; and five great-grandchildren.

Dolores was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter (Georgianna) Busch, Norman (Peggy) Busch, and George (Jeanne) Busch; son-in-law, Walter Stockmaster; and infant granddaughters, Jennifer and Jessica Ulmes.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 West Sandusky Street, Findlay, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2023. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Downtown Chapel, 617 West Main Cross, Findlay, with Fr. Peter Grodi officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay.

Memorial contributions in Dolores's memory may be shared with St. Michael School Endowment Fund, 750 Bright Rd., Findlay.
