Diane Leeper Obituary
Diane Jean "Momma" Leeper, 75, of Van Buren, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born Feb. 22, 1949, in Van Buren, to Dean and Pauline (Wagner) Nesler. She married Ed Leeper and he preceded her in death.
Diane is survived by her grandson, Brad Althaus; twin brother, Daniel Nesler; and mother-in-law, Sharon Leeper.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two daughters, Laurie Althaus and Angie Greiner.
Diane was a strong and independent woman. She was a cowgirl at heart, having raised and ridden horses her entire life. She loved all animals, especially her cats. She owned The Stable in Arcadia and was also a bartender at The Eagles FOE 2118 in Findlay, where she was also a lifelong member. She could always be found with a Michelob Light in her hand.
Diane's graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Bechtel Cemetery, Van Buren, with Pastor Dan Metzger officiating.
COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay, has been entrusted with her care.
Memorial contributions may be made to Coldren-Crates Funeral Home.

I seen this today & i could hardly beleive it I always liked talking to her when she was bartending at the Eagles. She was a awesome person for sure. RIP Diane........time to reunite with loved ones.

Diane our memories go way back... I've known you since I was around 13 yrs old.. fun times and sad times ... and now it may be sad times for us but we know your happy now being with your girls ... RIH ol' friend and fly high
