Diana Thrush Obituary
Diana (Grady) Thrush was led to Heaven by her mother, JoyceAnn Barbour, on Thursday, July 18, 2024, with her husband, Rod Thrush, by her side at her home in Arcadia.
She was born Aug. 4, 1956, in Columbus. Diana was a customer service specialist at Reineke Ford, Findlay, and graduate of Liberty Union High School, class of 1974.
Diana is survived by her husband, Rod Thrush; children, Scott (Danielle) Grady, Chera Grady, and Sarah (Scott) Lewis; stepchildren, Katie Thrush and Joseph Thrush; father, Harold Barbour; sisters, Sandra (Jeffrey) Knott and Lori (Matt) Leonard; and niece, Denali (Tim) Harvey.
Diana was affectionately known as "Happy Grandma" by her grandchildren, Noah (Samara), Caydan, Emmaleigh, Chelsea, Samantha, and Lillian. She also leaves behind many family members that will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, JoyceAnn Barbour; and father and mother-in-law, Gene and Alice Thrush.
Diana enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching them play sports, marching in the band, and competing in horse shows across Ohio. Diana loved the fall and made it a point to never miss a Fairfield County Fair every October. Diana always loved and made the holidays special for her family. She lived life to the fullest and brought joy and laughter to all that came into contact with her.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024, until the time of Diana's funeral at 11 a.m. at Arcadia United Methodist Church, 19397 Co. Rd. 216, Arcadia, Ohio, 44804. Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery.
Diana's family requests that a donation be made in her name to Bridge Hospice Care Center, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio, 45840, or Armes Family Care Center of Findlay, 15990 Medical Dr. South, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, has been entrusted with Diana's care.

This came up in my memories via Facebook today. Everytime I hear Diana's name I always have a smile on my face and in my heart. Diana cared for my mother with a wonderful kindness and I think she enjoyed her daughters as we interacted throughout my mother's care. Diana definitely soars with the angels and she was an angel to me at a difficult time.

I worked with Diana at Reineke several years ago before moving to GA. I made a point of stopping in to see her every year I attended the Toys for Tots run.
We use to chat about life, future plans & riding, something we shared a common interest in. I will miss seeing her smile & chatting with her, she always had a kind word & a shoulder to cry on.
Rest easy my dear sweet friend, until we meet again.

What a sweet person Diana was and what a wonderful blessing to me and my family when she helped care for my mother. She earned her wings many times over for her patience and caring she gave to her and I felt like she became one of our siblings in heart. She will truly be missed.
