Diana Rogers Obituary

Diana K. Rogers

Diana Rogers passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024.

Diana was born April 5, 1947, to William Frank and Bertha Mefferd. She grew up in Convoy, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Kent.

Diana married L. Kent Rogers in 1965 and he survives her. They spent their first few years of marriage living on an army base in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Findlay in 1967. Kent and Diana have three children, Scott Rogers, Shawn Rogers and Andrea Rogers-Mathias; five grandchildren; Mariah Sayalith (Ben), Matthew Stockard, Luke Rogers, Josh Rogers and Nick Rogers; two great-grandchildren; Mason and Jai Sayalith.

Diana was beloved by her family and friends and she will be deeply missed. While she accomplished so much in her career, business adventures and personal achievements, she would insist that her titles of wife, mom and grandma were the ones she cherished most.

There will be no services at this time for Diana. COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, have been entrusted with Diana's care.

Online condolences may be shared with her family at coldrencrates.com.

I remember the girl with a cast on her arm sitting at her desk. She wasn´t allowed to go out to the playground, and I had been very sick with flu and then strep on top of that. So we stayed in our 5th grade room and did other things. And out friendship grew from there. And all these years have passed, and we were like sisters. Sharing family tales and sadness together plus The Joy and happiness of children and grandchildren! I already miss that so much..it is painful to know we can´t communicate by phone, text, and other ways like we did all the time. I loved you like a sister, a best friend. R.I.P. Diana.

I have such fond memories of Diana through our years in Zonta. I was so glad to spend time with her and serve our community together. I will always remember her generosity and quiet kindness. We had such fun and shared a lot of laughter. May you, as a family, lean on each other for support and strength during this time of loss. My deepest sympathy to you all.
