He was also a member of Ottawa Eagles and VFW.
Denny owned his own construction business, Moening Construction, and remodeled homes. He was a very talented woodworker, building furniture, clocks, and anything his family wanted. All they had to do was give him a picture, and he could build it.
Denny was always willing to help anyone who asked for help. He loved helping others, including the Glandorf Lions Club with their many projects around the Glandorf Park. Denny enjoyed camping, country music, and having a beer with his friends. His grandchildren and children were very important to him. He always enjoyed their visits.
