Dennis McCracken Obituary
Dennis Lynn McCracken, 85, of Findlay, passed away from injuries sustained from an accident during his morning bicycle commute Oct. 30, 2024.
He was born Nov. 14, 1938, in Van Buren to Hartley and Mable (Lyon) McCracken. He graduated from Van Buren High School and joined the Army after high school where he served in Japan and Guam. Dennis retired from Cooper Tire.
Dennis is survived by his siblings, Sharon (Lewis) Bishop, Douglas (Lois) McCracken, Donald (Allegonda) McCracken, and Diana (Donovan) Simons.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Carol (Roy) Clark.
Visitation for friends and family will be 1-3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay, 419-422-1500. Funeral service for Dennis will be at 3 p.m. after the visitation, at the funeral home with Pastor Joel Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Bechtel Cemetery with Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad rendering military honors.

Mr McCracken was a friend. We enjoyed some wonderful, interesting conversations standing in line at Great Scot. David and I were privileged to know him!! We´ll remember him fondly
