Deloris Wilson Obituary
Deloris I. Wilson, 90, of Continental, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Monroe Township, Putnam County, to the late Carl and Nora (Hampshire) Williams. On Jan. 12, 1952, she married Earl L. Wilson, who preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1989.
She is survived by three children, Gary (Joan) Wilson of Continental, Kevin (Cindy) Wilson of Ottawa, and Mark (Tiffany) Wilson of Continental; two sisters, Donna Lee (John) Leatherman of Oakwood and Shirley Ernsberger of North Baltimore; seven grandchildren, Nick (Katie) Wilson, Bethany (James) Cotner, Robin (Jason) Hefner, Marla Rayle, and Peyton, Preston, and Paxton Wilson; and five great-grandchildren, Brady and Brylee Wilson, Henry and Andrew Cotner, and Lewis Hefner.
Deloris was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam (Joe) Rayle; four brothers, Carl Williams Jr., Paul Williams, Richard Williams, and Donald Williams; and five sisters, Virginia Guild, Mable Fields, Bessie Divens, Wilma Williams, and Carolyn Lee.
Deloris retired from Continental Local School where she was a bus driver. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Continental, and as a past president of its United Methodist Women. She was also a member of Continental Eastern Stars.
Deloris' funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Christ United Methodist Church, Continental, with the Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
