David Homan Obituary

David A. Homan

David A. Homan, 68, of Chandler, Arizona, died Sunday, July 10, 2022, at his home.

He was born July 27, 1953, in Coldwater, to the late Joseph and Viola (Kremer) Homan.

He is survived by twins, Stacey and Kimberly Homan; ex-wife, Becky Lowry of Cincinnati; and 11 siblings, Diana DeMange of Versailles, Judy Link of Fountain Hills, Arizona, Lucy Poeppelman of Ottawa, Leon (Katie) Homan of New Bremen, Helen (Dennis) Schattel of Bloomington, Indiana, Terese Knapik of Fountain Hills, Arizona, Marlene (Rick) Brunswick of Forest, Dr. Joseph Homan of Baton Rouge, Lousiana, Lisa (Mark) Seitz of Maria Stein, Ann (Craig) Nesbit of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Timothy Homan of Horton, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by four siblings, Ronald Homan, Virgil Homan, Rose Ann Homan, and Martin Homan; and in-laws, Carl DeMange, Thomas Link, Dr. David Poeppelman, Michael Knapik, and Brenda Homan.

He graduated from Marion Local High School in 1971 and Bowling Green State University. Dave was a real estate broker in Arizona since 1986 and founder of Destination Realty in Tempe, Arizona. He was a competitive card player and achieved the ranking of Bridge Life Master. He was an avid and skilled bowler in leagues for many years.

His purchase of a RV in 2021 allowed him to visit his daughters and attend the 50th Marion Local class reunion last year. More adventures were planned. He was extremely proud of his daughters and loved coming to Ohio to visit family and friends.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated.

Celebrations of his life will take place in Arizona with family living there and in Ohio in the future.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Marion Local Scholarship Fund, PO Box 1, Maria Stein, Ohio, 45860.
