David Collins

David A. Collins, 77, of New Riegel, died at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born April 21, 1948, in Anderson, Indiana, to the late Leonard J. and Doris (Wheeler) Collins. He married Donna Gilliland, December 22, 1989, and she survives.

Donna is also survived by his son, Brian (Danielle) Collins of Powell; daughters, Michelle Broad of Findlay and Stephanie (Jason) Bennett of Delaware; brother, Jim (Carmen) Collins of Powell; sister, Lorie Core of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Dylan, Austin, Wesley, Blake, Charlee, Bodi, and Harper; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Pat Collins and brother-in-law, Tom Core.

David retired from Honeywell in Fostoria, where he was an electrician for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and loved working on cars or anything with a motor; he always had a project in the works.

All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
