David Lee Borkosky

David Lee Borkosky, 59, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, in the arms of his loving wife at his residence.

He was born Aug. 13, 1965, in Findlay, the son of Donald Ross Sr. and Marjorie Anne (Lunn) Borkosky.

He is survived by his wife, Erica (Iliff) Borkosky; brave son, David Alin Kole; beautiful daughter, Savannah Michele Grace of Findlay; brother, Don Borkosky Jr.; stepmother, Jean Borkosky; sister, Kristine Hixson Young; stepgrandchildren, Heather and C.J. Bays; and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Terri Fleming; and brother, Raymond Hixson.

David was a Findlay High School graduate. He was a diesel mechanic at Findlay Truck Repair and was well-known in the Diesel circles, working at various other shops in the area. He also enjoyed his work, watching NASCAR, and was a fan of Jeff Gordon. David enjoyed road trips, going out with his wife, and spending time with his family.

Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the benevolence of the family.
