Danny Lynn Greeno

Danny Lynn Greeno, 76, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Fostoria ProMedica Hospital.

He was born Oct. 29, 1946, in Findlay, to Chester and Mary Ann (Dukes) Greeno.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Chris) Wise of Findlay; and brother, Lennie Greeno Sr. of Findlay.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Michael, Chester, and Dave; and sisters, Silver, Patricia, and Linda.

Danny retired from Ball Metal in Findlay. He was an U.S. Army Veteran during Vietnam. He was a member of Hancock County Conservation Club & N.R.A. Danny was a people's person who loved spending time with family and friends, smoking, and shooting.

Even though Dan only had one biological child, he treated his son-in-law, nieces, and nephews like his own. They all meant the world to him. He was an amazing father and taught his daughter to always do the right thing and stand up for what she believes in as she can do anything she puts her mind to.

Dan has so many friends. He loved his days eating breakfast at Dell's or out at the range with the guys. He was a great teacher and mentor. He was the first person friends call for advice. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023, at United Conservation Outdoor Association (UCOA), 6943 Township Road 243, Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Military honors will be performed at 2 p.m. by Fostoria United Veterans.
