Danielle Blubaugh Obituary

Danielle M. "Dani" Blubaugh

Danielle "Dani" was born in Findlay, OH, on January 16, 1990, to her parents Daniel and Sharon Blubaugh.

Danielle Marie Blubaugh of Findlay, OH, at the age of 35 years old, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2025, peacefully at The Ohio State University Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. Cherished daughter of Daniel and Sharon Blubaugh.

Danielle is remembered by her parents Dan and Sharon Blubaugh of Findlay, OH; grandparents, Bob and Carol Blubaugh of Salem, OH, and Duane (deceased) and Joyce Guiler of Salem, OH; siblings, Derek (Brianna) Blubaugh of Columbus, OH, and Jessica Blubaugh of Columbus, IN; boyfriend, Keith Davis of Upper Sandusky, OH; her cat Pookie; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout Ohio, Texas, Indiana, and Missouri.

Danielle attended Findlay City Schools. Danielle graduated in 2008, with top grades in English, History, and German. After graduation, Danielle first attended Cleveland State University and studied ancient and medieval studies, transferring after 1 ½ years to Youngstown State University to study nursing for 3 ½ years.

She faced a lifelong struggle with health issues, which ultimately cut short her college studies. Danielle returned to Findlay, OH, where, between working with the KFC crew, she spent time compiling a nearly complete genealogy of her family consisting of 5,990 people across multiple family lines. Dani also spent extensive time digging into movies with her boyfriend, Keith Davis, and reading through the C.S. Lewis writings. She loved all cats and enjoyed her cat Pookie, loved everything Little Mermaid, exploring the science of skin care, and enjoying both movie soundtracks and Trance-style music.

She participated in the Findlay Trojan Marching Band and Concert Band while in high school and even performed in a Christmas parade in Hollywood, California. Growing up she enjoyed playing softball. Danielle attended Findlay Evangelical Free Church (Living Hope Church), enjoying youth group and volunteering multiple years at the "Pittsburgh Project" a mission's trip for the inner-city region. Danielle loved exploring life, the past, the present, and the future, in different ways. No matter the illness, procedure, or surgery, she bravely met them head on, never made herself the victim.

Psalm 6:2

"Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am faint. Heal me, O LORD…"

I am very sorry to hear this. We are most likely cousins. My grandpa is Otto Blubaugh, I am Janet Blubaugh. My parents are both from Columbus, originally. I hope that you are finding joy in your memories of Danielle.
