Daniel P. Stahl

Daniel 'Dan' P. Stahl, 78, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at his residence in Land O. Lakes, Florida. He was born in Findlay May 9, 1946, to the late Robert M. and Bonita J. (Brim) Stahl. He married Mary Jo Wiseley and they divorced. He then married April K. (Burris) Stahl and they later divorced.

Dan is survived by his children, Heather (Phillip) Mosier of Copley, Andrea (Rikkz) Premnath, and Jessica (Jimmy) Keith, both of Findlay; six grandchildren, Hanna Mosier, Emily Mosier, Samarah Premnath, Alexis Keith, and Cayden Keith; and a brother, Robert G. Stahl of Findlay.

Dan was a 1964 graduate of Findlay High School, attended University of Toledo and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Deweyville Church of God until its closure. He then attended Gateway Church in Findlay and is currently at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Florida. Dan worked at Ball Metal for 22 years as QC Manager. He continued working with other companies in the metal and canning industry until he started his lawn care business in 2001. Once retired, he moved to Florida, which had always been his dream. He was an avid OSU Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan, and in his younger days, he loved to deer hunt and surf fish. He spent years bowling, playing softball with Ball Metal teams, and playing racquetball and basketball at the YMCA. While always active, his favorite pastime was golf. Other interests included bingo and karaoke night with his community friends. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend to many and will be greatly missed by his family.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will be 11-2 p.m. prior to the service. Pastor Kirk Schneemann officiating. Private family burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.
