Dane Robert Green-Moran

With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Dane Robert Green-Moran, who left this world Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at the tender age of 17. He is now reunited with his father, Kelvin Green-Moran, who preceded him in death in 2015.

Dane is lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers, Melanie (Green) and Jeremy McBride, Destanie Green-Moran, Dylan Green-Moran, Candice Rios, Maverick McBride, and Ryker McBride. He leaves behind cherished memories with his grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. He is also survived by his biological mother, Daun Janukaitis.

Dane had a remarkable gift for bringing kindness and joy into the lives of everyone around him. His tender heart, bright smile, and incredible talent were a source of inspiration and warmth. Dane's sense of humor made us laugh so much. He had a talent for physical comedy and sarcasm. He spent time with his "little brothers," Mav and Ryker, frequently getting them all riled up and wild and laughing at the hysterics he orchestrated. He formed deep connections within the disc golf community and excelled in football and track, touching the lives of many during his time at Findlay City Schools (grades 2-10). He also created lasting memories with his coworkers at Subway and Bellacino's.

The loss of Dane has left a profound void in our hearts and we will forever cherish the moments we shared with him. He will be missed dearly by friends, family, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A memorial service celebrating the remarkable impact Dane had on his teams, coaches, friends, and family, will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at Donnell Stadium, 375 Baldwin Avenue, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.

An additional time to gather for family and friends will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, until the time of Dane's funeral at 12 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.

Donations to a Dane Green-Moran fund will go to a memorial that will be decided at a later date.
