Cynthia A. Frias

Cynthia A. Frias, 58, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

She was born Aug. 3, 1964, in Fostoria, to Senaido R. "Spino" and Feliciana M. (Ceniceros) Frias.

Cynthia is survived by four siblings, Kevin (Karen) Frias of Fostoria, Diane (Chris) Cramner of Findlay, Victor (Heather) Frias of McComb, and Janet (Brian) Frias of Fostoria; nephews, Cody, Kyle, Kerry, Kiefer, Cole, Cayden, and Mason; nieces, Erica, Ryleigh, Braelyn, and Jordyn; stepmother, Amalia Frias of Fostoria; and stepsiblings, Chico, Mary, Eddie, John, Carlos, and Patty.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and half-sister, Pamela Frias.

Cynthia was a 1982 graduate of St. Wendelin High School and member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. She retired from Whirlpool in Findlay after 38 years of service and was involved with Habitat for Humanity. Cynthia enjoyed her cats, traveling, and was known for going on "impromptu" road trips with her family. She enjoyed writing poems and recently published a children's book called "If I Were Not Me What Would I Be?" Cynthia never missed a family event and dearly loved her nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Hoening & Son Funeral Home, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830, where a Vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2023, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio, American Cancer Society, or Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
