Consolation Shaffer, 60, of Delphos and formerly of Findlay, died at 12:07 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She was born February 20, 1965, to the late Jose, Sr. and Amelia (Sierra) Salazar.
Consolation is survived by her daughter, Angela (Nick Cygan) Shaheen of Lima; son, Daniel Salazar of Lima; brothers, Jose Salazar Jr. and Felix Salazar of Findlay; sister, Ruby (Andy) Willhite of Findlay; and nine grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ernesto Salazar.
Consolation was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Findlay.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, downtown chapel. Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where a Rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com.
