Clyde Donald Althaus

Clyde Donald Althaus, 90, of Findlay, passed away at The Heritage, Findlay, Tuesday, September 16, 2025. He was born in Hancock County August 19, 1935, the son of LaVern and Adeline (Jacobs) Althaus. On June 10, 1961, he married Cleo "Jeanette" (Howard) Althaus, who survives in Findlay.

Survivors also include his son, Timothy Althaus of Findlay; and daughters, Lynn (Joe) Parsell and Hope (Shane) Klingler, both of Findlay; his grandchildren, Alycia (Austin) Fox, Crystal Taft, Wendy Klingler, Kelsey (Nate) Major, and Jamie (James) Felch; great-grandchildren, Emma, Cory, Peyton, Molly, Casey, Liam, and Emily.

Preceding him in death were his parents and six brothers.

Clyde was a United States Army veteran, a machinist at Werk-Brau who retired in 1997, a member of College First Church of God, and enjoyed walking with his wife at the Findlay Mall. Clyde also enjoyed traveling to Amish country and spending time with his family.

Visitation for Clyde will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Chapel at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay, followed by a funeral service that will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Welker officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens.

Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to College First Church of God.
