Charlotte Coppler Obituary
Charlotte Coppler, 84, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria. She was born Dec. 3, 1937, in Columbus, Mississippi, to James and Ollie (McAdams) Ayers. She married Richard E. Coppler on Nov. 19, 1959, in Columbus, Mississippi. He passed away Feb. 27, 2016.
She is survived by daughters, Cynthia (John) David and Sharon (John) Myers, both of Fostoria; grandchildren, Whitney Brickner, Sara (Rob) Hernandez, Morgan (Brandon) Hoerig, and Jordan (Autumn) David; and great-grandchildren, Raelyn, Matthew, Blake, Barrett, Logan Charlotte, Ivey, Elijah, and Landon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Robert Ayers; and sisters, Joan Kay and Rica Ayers.
Charlotte was a homemaker, member of Fostoria Church of God, and 1956 graduate of Stephen D. Lee High School. She was also a member of Fostoria American Legion and Eagles Club. Charlotte loved to bowl, play bingo, and go on trips with her friends. She had many honorary grandkids.
Charlotte's funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Jerry Copeland officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria, at a later date.
Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Charlotte was such a lively, lovely, fun person. We met at the Fostoria Senior Center. She made every day she was there a good day! We loved to her talk and laugh. She is missed.

It's hard to believe a year has passed. Another memory of Charlotte was of when she would be ready to leave the Senior Center after we played card games, we would check the weather outside because we were concerned she might blow away in a strong wind. Had to hold on to her until she was in the car. Her smile and wit is missed.

I met Charlotte at the Fostoria Senior Center. She always added life and sparkle to the days she attended. She made the day better and more fun.
