We were neighbors and enjoyed seeing Chuck and Rusty on their daily jaunts. Always was enjoyable seeing and talking to the duo. Always a pleasure to see them! They are missed!

Chuck and Mariann were proof a conservative and a liberal could live in harmony, raise a great family and bring out the best in each other. I will miss delivering egg nogg to Chuck at Christmas and enjoying the lingering fragrance of a cigar. Chuck is the embodiment of "a life well lived."

Chuck, as I knew him was a great person, he liked to play golf and we played a few rounds, he always was smoking his cigar, when he passed my house, walking his dog, the cigar was always with him. We had a few lunches with Jose Torres talking about the good old days.
Overall Chuck was a gentleman and he will be remembered forever.
Unfortunately I will not be able to join in his life celebration.

My name is Ron Gargasz and I worked at WBGU-TV from 1964-2008, that is how I got to know Chuck and Mariann. Chuck & Mariann were strong supporters of WBGU-TV and fun to be around. Pat Fitzgerald, Pat Koehler,my wife Sharon and I got to be good friends with Chuck and Mariann, playing golf and also working on a documentary called "Looking For A Face like Mine". Mariann was a champion of the Mazza Museum and worked with WBGU-TV Producer Shawn Brady on creating the "Looking For A Face like Mine" documentary. We had such good times working with both Chuck and Mariann. Pat Fitzgerald and I played a number of rounds of golf with Chuck and his son Scott. Chuck was a good golfer. I can't remember ever scoring lower than Chuck. I was closer to his son Scott in golf ability, but we always had a great time regardless of the score. Since retiring from WBGU-TV in 2008, I lost touch with both Mariann and Chuck and was sad to hear of their passing.
I am sorry my wife and I will not be able to attend the November 30th celebration of Chuck's life but our thoughts and spirit will be there. We are glad to have had Chuck and Mariann in our lives.
My wife and I will cherish the memories we have of them and they will be missed. Our condolences to their sons, and families and especially to Scott.

Scott, Paul, Chris,
What an Honor and Pleasure it was for me to have your Dad as an announcer and steady supporter of the FHS soccer program. I also admired him as a friend. Your Mom and Dad´s generosity to the Findlay Community will be valued by many for a long time. Their passing is a loss to the entire community. You´re in my prayers.

May he be having a very special reunion in heaven with those gone before him. Condolences to those "left behind," especially Scott...such good Christian Soldiers. FPC was so blessed to have them in our worship family. Romans 8:18. Nancy, Bob Wilczynski

Scott-my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your dad. I have such good memories of your parents, during our banking days together. May happy memories surround you and warm your heart in the days ahead. Sending support to you and your family. We lost my mom at 95 about three years ago. Even when we know they´ve had a great life, it is still hard to let them go. All my best, Susan Wall Lause
