Cathey Russell Obituary
Cathey Ann Russell, 72, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia after a short illness. She was born April 7, 1952, to Guy Ronald Miller and Jeanette Marie Miller in Findlay. She was raised in Findlay, and was a member of the graduating class of 1970. Besides Findlay, she also lived and worked in Cleveland, Ohio, Newport Beach and Balboa Island, California, and retired in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
She is survived by her children, James (Rosa) Russell of Reidsville, North Carolina and Andrea (Michael) Gandy of Moyock, North Carolina. Her greatest joy was her precious grandchildren, Gabrielle Russell of Columbus, Hudson Gandy, Brayden Gandy, and Jaymesen Gandy, all of Moyock, North Carolina. Also surviving Cathey is her brother, Michael (Janice) Miller of Findlay; and sister, Lisa (Frank) Bosse of Sarasota, Florida. She will also be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Michael Miller and Benjamin (Abigail) Miller, both of Findlay, Amanda (Phillip) Hartman of Lenexa, Kansas, and Sarah ( Graham) Martin of Charlotte, North Carolina; and her grandniece, Olivia Martin; and grandnephews, Luke Martin, Baker Miller, Mack Miller, Ford Hartman, Beckham Hartman.
A private family service and burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay at a later date.
