Carolyn Deters Obituary
Carolyn S. Deters, 83, of Glandorf, died at 2:32 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at Meadows of Ottawa.
She was born Aug. 13, 1939, in Lima, to Albert and Genevieve (Kuhlman) Deters.
Carolyn's survivors include five siblings, Marilyn Schnabel of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Kathleen Jones and Elaine Stoepfel, both of Glandorf, Lois (Tom) Baratko of Springboro, and Terry Deters of Lebanon; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Deters; sister, Annette Gorman; and three brothers-in-law, Keith Schnabel, Terry Jones, and Mark Stoepfel.
Carolyn retired from Marathon Oil Company, Findlay. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, and its Altar Rosary Society, and Neil Diamond Fan Club.
Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, with Fr. Matt Keller officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorial donations may be given to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf.
Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
