Carol Cap Obituary
Carol Marie Cap, 77, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family.
Carol was born Dec. 24, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Edward and Emily (Silva) Dombrowski. She married the love of her life, Stanley Cap, at a dance that she snuck into at the age of 12 and they were married Feb. 16, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, and he survives in Findlay.
Carol is also survived by her children, Laura (Patrick) Seermon, Stanley W. Cap, Alan (Bonnie) Cap, Richard (Jui-Ping Wu) Cap, and Holly Amos; grandchildren, Nicholas (Selina) Laytart, Shannon Amos, Johnna Freeze, Abigail Cap, Alan Cap, Jay, Michelle, Jimmy, and Shannon Whitman, Tabitha Cap, John Paul Cap, Rayanna Cap, Leah Cap, Hunter, Cap, Scarlett Cap, Ritter Cap, Richard Cap, and Madelyn and Rachel Seermon; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Asher, Aaliyzan, Elias, Noah, Mya, Bella, and Weston; and brothers, Ronald, Thomas, and Peter Dombrowski.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Theresa Thompson.
Carol had a heart of gold. She was very generous and compassionate individual who would go the extra mile to help anyone in a time of need, whether it was her family or a complete stranger. Carol enjoyed playing a good game of cards with her friends and family, the slots every time she went to the casino, and going to garage sales where she always on the search for her next treasure. She was a nanny for the Guglielmi children. Carol was a member of the Redhats and loved the time she spent with them.
A time of gathering in Carol's honor will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2022, at Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
Memorial contributions may be made in Carol's honor to her family to use for a charity of their discretion.
