Carl Arnold Obituary

Carl L. Arnold

Carl L. Arnold, 90, peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

He was born Feb. 20, 1933, in Findlay, to Edson M. and Gladys L. (Hill) Arnold. He married D. June (Hampton) Arnold on May 7, 1953, and she preceded him in death in 2022.

Carl worked in a few positions at Marathon Oil Company including maintenance, mail room, records, and microfilm before retiring in 1985. He was past President for Ohio Microfilm Association and member of Findlay Masonic Lodge. Carl also belonged to many organizations including Keystone Cops, Skeeter Swatters Camping Club in Findlay, and Wyan-Dots Camping Club in Upper Sandusky. Carl was an avid business card collector with a collection of over 50,000!

Carl is survived by three daughters, Melody J. (Gary) Heath of Dover, Cinda L. (John) Triplett of Marietta, and Jennifer S. (Todd) Thiry of Findlay; daughter-in-law, Roxie Arnold; seven grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and six-plus great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, J. Christopher; three brothers, Howard C. and David L. Arnold, and one at infancy; a sister at infancy; and three brothers-in-law, Tom Jahn, Larry, and Roger Hampton.

In honor of Carl's wishes, there will be no funeral.

HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500), has been entrusted with arrangements.

Memorial contributions in Carl's name may be made to Bridge Home Health & Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio, 45840, or Findlay Masonic Complex, 303 Osbourne Ave., Findlay.
