Brenda Routzon Obituary

Brenda E. Routzon

Brenda E. Routzon, 63, of Findlay, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023, in Cleveland, Tennessee.

She was born Sept. 27, 1959, in Findlay, to Marshall W. and Estella (Copus) Patterson.

Brenda was a former employee of Cooper Tire and Rubber, Bowling Green. She was a 1977 graduate of Van Buren High School before graduating from Owens Community College. She was a member of Upper Room Church of God. For Brenda, friends and family were everything and she could often be found helping someone with her wide array of skills. Brenda leaves behind a long list of heartbroken family and friends including her loving husband, Mark; parents, Marshall W. and Estella; daughters, Marsha (Michael) Steffan Cramer and Melanie (Ryan) Sorg; sons, Derek (Sarah) Steffan, Tyler (Jocelyn) Routzon, and Joshua Routzon; stepdaughter, Shannon Hodges; grandchildren, Tristan, Madelyn, Torianna, Carter, Braden, Brielle, Amelia, Preston, and Elliott; and brothers, Marshall and Ralph Patterson.

Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Charlie Steffan.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at UPPER ROOM CHURCH OF GOD, 520 W. Bigelow Avenue, Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Brenda's funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor Adam Willford officiating.

I didn´t spend a lot of time around Brenda but it was very apparent how kind she was to others and what a great person she was. She was so nice to me and I know she was so good for and to Mark and a wonderful mother to Marsha. I was so sad to see this, I´ll pray for my friends Mark and Marsha and the family.

I'm sorry I neglected to mention the rest of Brenda's family. I only knew her, Mark and Josh. But I am definitely praying for all of you...that God would give you all a peace that passes all understanding.
