Brandon Mullins Obituary

Brandon W. Mullins

Brandon Wayne Mullins, 41, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic.

He was born March 13, 1983, in Bluffton to Jennifer Mullins and David Stacey.

Brandon was a caretaker and protector by nature. He enjoyed every opportunity to assist others. On Sunday, March 2, Brandon contributed significantly to the lives of at least three individuals in need through his heroic act of organ donation. He always knew what was important to him and was unafraid to speak his mind to anyone under any circumstance.

Brandon served in the military of his mind. One of his greatest wishes was to be a soldier, but the agony of his uncontrolled seizures was a game breaker. He fought every day against his body. Despite the difficulties his seizures may have caused him, Brandon lived a very full life. He travelled to over 14 countries in the 23 short years of his adult life. To name a few: Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Mexico, Turks and Caicos, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, Honduras, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Aruba, Curacao, and Cayman Islands.

Brandon was a 2001 graduate of La Porte High School in Indiana. He loved the Bible, traveling, his family, friends, and his dog Chloe. He enjoyed video games, construction equipment, played basketball for Blanchard Valley Special Olympics, music, and enjoyed golf.

Brandon is survived by his father, David (Phyllis) Stacey of Chipley, Florida; siblings, Dale (Ashley) Mullins, Frank Bailey, Buddy Bailey, Panda (Steve) Weyer, and Lisa Bailey (Curt); and fifteen nieces and nephews.

In addition to his biological family, Brandon is also survived by his extended family who cherished his presence at Buttles Home, Jon Smith, Brendon Speer, June Buttles-Freeman, Beth Leonard Freeman, Uncle Grant (Mandy) Freeman (friend and advocate), Darrel Miller, Angie Buttles (Denny Jarrett), Carrie (Allen) Harber, Shelia (Elizabeth) Wilson, and Hallie Freeman.

Brandon was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Mullins; brothers, Cecil E. Bailey, and Robert S. Hunter; and grandparents, Cecil J. and Edna M. Judy.

Friends and family may visit from 11-1 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Brandon's funeral service will be at the conclusion of visitation at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Denny Jarrett officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.

Memorial contribu-tions in Brandon's name may be made to Buttles Home Extension Community Project, 225 E. Foulke Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840.
