Bonnie J. Powell

Bonnie J. Powell, 92, of Findlay, died at 12:44 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born April 29, 1933, in Vanlue, to the late Harold and Reva (Beard) Rickle. She married Melvin D. Powell, July 22, 1956, and he preceded her in death August 16, 2000.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Michael D. (Karen) Powell; daughters, Kathy S. (Rodney) Chaskel, and Patty J. (Ron) Amstutz; siblings, Glenn (Frances) Rickle and David (Anita) Rickle; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were siblings, Tom W. Rickle and Donna Riggs.

Bonnie was a graduate of Vanlue High School and retired from Benton Ridge Telephone Company.

Her funeral service will be at noon Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will be from 10 a.m.- noon prior to service. Burial will be at Benton Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
