Billy E. Williams Jr.
Billy E. Williams Jr. of Findlay, passed peacefully from this earth Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born October 4, 1956, in Fort Meade, Maryland, to Billy E. Williams Sr. and Christa (Stumpf) Williams.
On May 5, 1979, Billy married the love of his life, Danna (Hudkins) Williams, and together they shared a beautiful life built on love, laughter, and loyalty. He also leaves behind his daughter, Samantha (Kenny Nichols) Williams, of whom he was endlessly proud. Billy is survived by his siblings, Betty Wojciechowski, Peggy (Greg Huss) Williams, Katherine Cross, and Mike (Kim) Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bobby Williams.
Billy graduated from Findlay High School before beginning a long and dedicated career as a route salesman for Pepsi Cola, where he worked tirelessly and built countless friendships before retiring.
Billy was a man who lived life in motion, on the field, on the court, and on the water. A proud member of the Corvette Club, a Young Miss Softball and Little League Baseball coach, and a lifelong athlete, he poured his heart into sports and the communities they built. Many remember him for his passion for basketball, his love of slow-pitch softball, and his gift for bringing out the best in others through teamwork and laughter.
When he wasn't on the field, Billy could be found fishing in the great outdoors, often on his beloved trips to Canada, where the quiet of nature met his adventurous spirit. A lover of camping, the outdoors, and a proud Eagle Scout, Billy carried his respect for nature throughout his life. In his retirement, he found new joy on the golf course, and a few days passed without a round shared among friends.
Billy also had another unwavering allegiance, to his Michigan Wolverines, whose victories (and even defeats) he felt deeply and celebrated wholeheartedly. He was also a devoted dog lover, finding companionship and comfort in his four-legged friends over the years.
But above all, Billy was a family man, steady, kind, and full of heart. He was a mentor to many, offering wisdom, encouragement, and laughter that left lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His charisma could light up a room, his humor could lift any spirit, and his storytelling made moments feel timeless.
Billy Williams was, simply put, one of a kind, the kind of person whose presence made the world warmer, funnier, and better. His legacy lives on in the stories he told, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave so freely.
Those who knew Billy will forever remember his laughter echoing across the ballfields, his fishing pole resting by the lake, and his heart, full, generous, and steadfast. Though he has cast his final line on this side of the shore, his spirit continues to ripple through the lives of all who loved him.
A memorial and celebration of life will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Humane Society of Hancock County in Billy's memory. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Bridge Hospice for their compassion, care, and kindness during Billy's final days.
