Billie Jean Daws

Billie Jean Daws, 77, of Findlay, and formerly of Dorris, California, passed away unexpectedly at 11:16 a.m. Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Promedica Toledo Hospital.

Billie was born May 29, 1945, in Advance, Arkansas, to William Ellis Daws and Jessie Juanita Setzer Daws.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Joe) Cooper of Mt. Blanchard; granddaughter, Wryn; sister, Linda Otey of Dorris, California; and brother, Bobby (Sue) Daws of Fort Jones, California.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Ellis (Jim) Daws, Johnny Thomas (Satch) Daws, and Leon Taylor Daws; and sister, Glenda Sue Daws.

Billie loved to read and frequented the Findlay Library Bookmobile as often as she was able to. She enjoyed taking trips to Holmes County and she especially loved spending time with her granddaughter, Wryn, whom she loved very much.

Services for Billie will be private.
