English was not my favorite class. Mrs Atkins made it so fun, I got an AA+ for being the first in class to recite "The Last Rose of Summer". Will never forget enthusiasm for poetry. Denny Schey "FHS 71"

Bev was one of the kindest women I have had the pleasure of knowing. Her heart for the homeless and hurting was put into real action with her work at City Mission. Bev, you were a joy and a light, you will be missed.

Mrs. Atkins was instrumental in helping me become proficient and committed to English in school and in my personal life. Her life was certainly full of service to the community and to others. God rest her soul. Rich Brumley FHS Class of 1969.
