Betty J. Renfro

Betty J. Renfro, 94, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.

She was born Jan. 30, 1929, in Central City, Illinois, to Ben and Mary (Lewis) Padberg. She married Charles Renfro on Aug. 24, 1945, and he preceded her in death Nov. 18, 2006.

Betty worked at St. Joseph Public Schools in Michigan as a bus driver. She was a member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Paula Renfro; grandchildren, Kyle (Melissa) Renfro, Jason Renfro, Kelly Devine, and Todd Whitney; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Robert and Richard; grandson, Thomas Whitney Jr.; and siblings, Pauline Yoos, Bennie Padberg, Louie Padberg, and James Padberg.

Betty will be buried alongside her husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan, at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2023.

HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500, has been entrusted with arrangements.

Memorial contributions in Betty's name may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
