Belinda Ann Nichols

Belinda Ann (Hoyt) Nichols, 77, of Dunkirk, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at her residence.

She was born January 23, 1949, in Lima, to the late Melvin E. Hoyt and Mary (Shepherd) Puckett. On October 21, 1967, she married Royce Robert "Bob" Nichols, who preceded her in death May 4, 2022.

Belinda is survived by her children, Kim (Roger) Gerding and Tim (Lori) Nichols; her grandchildren, Abigail Gerding, Alison Gerding, Jacob Nichols, and Elijah Nichols; and her sister, Phyllis Hoyt.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Hoyt and Melvin Hoyt.

After many years of service, Belinda retired from Community Markets in Kenton. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, and watching the Cincinnati Reds. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished time spent with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Additional visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, February 27, at the funeral home.

Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Dunkirk Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Belinda's honor may be made to St. Rita's Hospice.
