Anna Jane Shaffer

Anna Jane Shaffer, 93, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at The Meadows of Leipsic.

She was born Aug. 1, 1931, in Wharton, to Russell and Maxine (Traxler) Robison. Anna married Fred E. Shaffer on Nov. 3, 1951, and he preceded her in death Feb. 23, 2018.

She is survived by a son, Jack (Connie) Shaffer of Findlay; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Anna was also preceded in death by her parents; son, William Shaffer; and brother, Dave Robison.

Anna was a 1949 graduate of Wharton High School. She retired from Elder-Beerman Salon in 1993 as a hairstylist. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and was a sports fanatic.

Anna's funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church in her memory.
