Anna Mae Dilley
Anna Mae Dilley, 99, of (Patterson) Forest, entered her eternal life at 8:55 a.m. October 25, 2025, at Westbrook Assisted Living under Wyandot Memorial Hospice. She was born June 14, 1926, in Kenton, Hardin County, to the late Jacob and Julia (Lewallen) Born. She married William Nelson Dilley, September 9, 1944, in Greenup, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death March 24, 2015. They celebrated 70 years of marriage in 2014. She was a longtime member of Patterson United Methodist Church. Bill and Ann had four children together, Nelson (Etta) Dilley, Upper Sandusky and they had two children together, Todd and Deanna, great grandchildren Taylor, Turner, Alec, Alaney and Alivia, great great grandchildren, Hudson, River & Carter, Wayne (Karon) Dilley, Forest and they have two children Jeff & Eric, great grandchildren, Ashley, Emma, Lauren Megan, Troy, Trent, Allison & Jenna, Cheryl (deceased) (Patrick) Weber, Mt. Blanchard and they have two children Ty and Scott, great grandchildren Lex, Tate, Madelynn, Elijah and Lincoln, great great grandchildren Clayton, Dana (Robyn) Dilley, Mt. Blanchard and they have three children Jessica, Chelsea and Devin, great grandchildren, Hunter, Wesley, Stella and Lucas, sisters Mary Sons, Forest and Violet Born, Kenton.
She is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers, Mildred Bridenstein, Edith Elwood, Ethel Zoll, Jacob Born and John Born.
Ann took painting lessons with her daughter-in-law, Karon, in the early 1970s. Along with her husband Bill, they developed a craft business that continued for 25 years, until their retirement. Ann loved her family very much. Her Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter dinners will always be remembered, they were always very special events. She loved attending as many of her grandchildren's events as she possibly could. Her greatest joy was the love of her family. Ann also loved the members of Patterson United Methodist Church, where all the members worked together as a family.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Clark Shields Funeral Home, with Pastor Christopher Thacker officiating. Interment will be at Patterson Cemetery. Visitation is from 9:30-11 a.m. prior to services Thursday.
