Anna Sue Bame

Anna "Sue" Bame, 80, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023.

She was born Aug. 10, 1942, in Elizabethton, Tennessee, to Jeter and Mary Byrd. She the youngest and had eight siblings that survived birth (two that were stillborn), Dallas, Dillard, Willard, Jack, Jess, Mildred, Goldie, and Eileen. They all preceded her in death.

Sue went to Sulfur Springs Schools in Sulfur Springs, Ohio. She met Larry E. Bame at McCullough Motor Sales in 1960. Larry and Sue had three children, Kathy Rettig (Robin), Merri Bame (Kim Moulton), and Brad Bame, and they all survive. There are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

During her lifetime, Sue raised her children, worked in banking, played golf, loved to travel, spent retirement in several locations in various states, made life-time friends in those locations, and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives and activities. Sue was active in several churches and sang in choirs, most recently a member of Living Hope Church, Findlay. She enjoyed card games, board games, and a good laugh.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Living Hope Church, 2515 Heatherwood, Findlay. Sue's memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to St Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.

Arrangements have been entrusted to COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
