Andrew Twining Obituary

Andrew Christopher Twining

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Christopher Twining on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, at the age of 28.

He was born Dec. 7, 1994, in Findlay, to Christopher Twining and Jayme Barfell (Whitacre).

Andrew, who graduated from Liberty-Benton High School, continued on to Hocking College, where he studied Wilderness Horsemanship and found his passion in life. Honing his skills as a cowboy managing several cattle and horse ranches, Andrew ultimately became a Bull Rider for SEBRA Bull Riding and Barrel Racing. Andrew's vision was to experience the world from the back of a bull, the back of a horse, or transporting them across the country. In his role as Vice President of Hidden Brook Equine Transportation, he was able to carry out that passion, exploring the country delivering and caring for horses.

Andrew had a reassuring presence and was exceptionally kind, inspiring those that knew him and touching the hearts of many others. His friends and family admired him for his boldness in displaying his hilarious and distinctive personality.

He is survived by his parents, Christopher (Jennifer) Twining and Jayme (Timothy Fritts) Barfell; and grandparents, William Whitacre, Deborah (Steve) Twining-Eichhorn, and Valerie (Gary II) Bisbee. Andrew was a loving brother to Kylee Smith, Caleb Twining, Drew Twining, Caiden Twining, Jacob Barfell, Jocelyn Barfell, Brooklyn Barfell, Adelynn Hartley, and Gracelynn Hartley, and stepbrother to Kaitlyn Donovan, Tommy Donovan, Spencer Fritts, Kendall Fritts, and Grayson Fritts. He was also a caring uncle to his niece, Emersynn, and nephew, Wynsten. Andrew will be missed by Hazel, his beloved Australian Cattle Dog who lived this life with Andrew and was by his side until his last day.

Andrew was also a member of Cedar Creek Church, Findlay.

Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Andrew's funeral will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Hugh McClintock officiating.
