Amy Lynn Dickenson

Amy Lynn Dickenson, 43, of Findlay, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at her home.

She was born July 2, 1979, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Troy and Brenda K. (Brown) Rice. Amy married Chris Dickenson on Sept. 16, 2020, in Findlay.

Amy is survived by her loving husband, Chris; mother, Brenda (Joe) Kelly Jr. of Fostoria; son, Devin Rice Brown; four daughters, Arionna (Autumn Raines) Brown, Brionna Brown, Jessalynn Brown, and Michelle Columber; brother, Troy W. (Stephanie) Rice of Fostoria; granddaughter, Cyprionna Rice-Brown; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Troy Rice; and grandparents, Roy and Martha (Plymel) Brown, and Eva (Brown) Brewer.

Amy was a 1997 graduate of Fostoria High School and then earned an Associate Degree in Social Work from Owens Community College in Findlay. She was always known for having a big heart and would help anyone in need. Among many hobbies, she enjoyed shopping, especially Loungefly bags, flea markets, traveling, and going to amusement parks with family and friends. Her greatest love will always be her family.

Friends will be received 1-4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at Barndt Funeral Home, Wayne, where a celebration of life service will be at 4 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.

Immediately following, a bereavement dinner will be at Brenda and Joe's house, 1032 Cherry St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.

Memorial donations may be made to Amy's family.
