James Willis Jr.

December 8, 1971 - June 10, 2025

Jim was a quiet force of love, loyalty, and humor. He made life feel just a little steadier simply by being in it. He was the kind of person who made life feel less heavy.

He is survived by his wife, Wendy Willis; along with his mother, brother, and sister.

Jim was a big softie when it came to his dogs, Sindaen and Zoey. He loved buying them all the treats and toys, and he cherished his cuddle time with them.

Jim loved his work at Belcan, a role he genuinely enjoyed, and he was known for his reliability, dry sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty to the people he worked with.

He was happiest in the little things: playing video games especially leveling his characters and completing quests in World of Warcraft, the giddiness of finding a new vinyl record (for himself or for Wendy), searching for the best board games, or getting excited about both Star Trek and Star Wars. He even had a movie podcast with his sister, a project that brought him real joy, because it meant sharing laughs, opinions, and memories.

One of Jim's favorite memories was building his own lightsaber at Disneyland. It was an incredible day. He was grinning like a kid, completely in his element. He lit up with pride and joy, simply happy, present in the moment, and loving every second of it.

What made Jim special wasn't just who he loved. It was how he loved: quietly, fully, and without needing attention for it. He made you feel safe just by sitting next to you. Jim made everything okay.

Jim should still be here. He deserved more time. He has left behind a deep silence in the lives of those who knew and loved him. But those who knew Jim will carry his quiet strength, dry humor, and deep love forward. Always.
