Theodore Trell Wright (Ted Wright) of Hollywood, Florida, passed away at his residence on April 14, 2025. He was born on September 27, 1957 in Savannah, Georgia, to Charles Wright II and Mary New.
He started his cooking career at an early age. Then, soon after, started working at a golf course. These are two of his favorite things, Gods creation and making people happy through food.
He worked in restaurant kitchens for over 20 years and then owned and managed his own restaurant. Ted enjoyed a close relationship with his God, Jehovah for over 30 years being baptized in 1991 until his passing. Sharing regularly in helping others know Jehovah and His promise of a better future on earth.
Ted is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeanine Holbrook Wright and two children: Derrick Wright with his wife, Zeni Gonzalez and Jessica Wright Good with her husband, Eric Good. He also has 3 grandchildren: Zoe Wright (11), Damian Wright (4) and Beverly Good (4).
Services will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
Location of Service: 5632 SW 27th Street, West Park, Florida 33023.
Ted Wright was a man loved by all with his contagious smile and silly sense of humor.
"T-bear" was one of his nicknames as he was a large man that loved giving hugs. He enjoyed life to its fullest. His creativity in the kitchen was enthralling to all. Believing in the recipe: to make someone happy, you fill them with good food.
Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
