Robert "Bob" Frank McIntyre, 78, of Little Silver, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 30th, 2025.

Bob was born in Kearny, NJ to the late Frank McIntyre and Muriel Boyd. He was the oldest brother to his siblings Peggy Gordon, Wendy McIntyre, Sue McIntyre Forfar, Frank "Sandy" McIntyre and Dan Larrimore. Bob grew up in Kearny and played football for Kearny High School in New Jersey where he met the love of his life and wife Diane. Recently, Bob and Diane celebrated their fifty-sixth wedding anniversary on July, 13th. Bob graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson College earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. For 38 years, Bob was a very successful career banker who traveled daily to New York City (including First National Bank, Bankers Trust, National Bank of Canada, Whirlpool Financial Corporation, Deutsche Bank and finally GMAC Commercial Finance).

Bob enjoyed skiing, tennis, golf, sailing, power boating, fishing, architecture, design, being a master craftsman in wood working who always shared these passions with others. Most of all, Bob loved spending time with his family and friends on the water in New Jersey and skiing during winter months at his family home in Winhall, Vermont.

Bob is predeceased by his mother and father in law, Edward and Janet Madden whom he loved dearly.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife Diane and two children, Rob and Katie "Shields" McIntyre of Little Silver, NJ; Olga McIntyre of Little Silver, NJ; his 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Sophia and Harper McIntyre; his sister Sue McIntyre Forfar, Lake Wylie, SC; his brother Frank "Sandy" and his wife Kathy-Anne McIntyre of Little Silver, NJ and his brother Dan Larrimore, of Florida. He also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and great family friends whom he also adored.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th from 4:00PM- 7:00PM at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ 07701. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 6th at 10:00AM at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, Bob's family asks with gratitude that donations in his memory be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (https://giving.mskcc.org/donate-now), Holy Cross Academy (www.hcarumson.org), Lunch Break (www.lunchbreak.org) or a charity of your choice.
