Rhonda Petry Obituary

Rhonda S. Petry age 59, of Macksburg, OH passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born January 15, 1967 in Adamsville, OH daughter of the late David Allen “Donald” and Jessie Frances “Fran” McCort Workman.

She worked as a weaver at Longaberger Baskets for thirteen years before choosing to stay home to raise her children. Rhonda’s husband and children were her life and she lovingly cared for them all.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother David Workman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Roy A. Petry, whom she married July 8, 1995; daughter Vanessa (Jeremy) Haas of Macksburg; son Levi (Laken Clark) Petry of Caldwell; grandchild Waylon Grant Petry; father-in-law and mother-in-law James and Tracy Petry. She is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Marietta Memorial ICU & Palliative Care Teams for the loving care provided to Rhonda during her stay.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. Services will conclude with the visitation and cremation will follow.
