Misty Michelle (Powell) Pierce

November 25, 1980 - February 17, 2026

Misty Michelle (Powell) Pierce, age 45, of Dardanelle, Arkansas, entered the pearly gates of Heaven on February 17, 2026. She passed peacefully surrounded by those who loved her most.

Misty was born on November 25, 1980, in Texarkana, Texas, to Patricia A. Powell (Seale) and James A. Powell. She was the youngest of four children. Misty loved her life deeply; she cherished her family and was devoted to her Lord and Savior. She was a faithful member of Amazing Grace Church in Dardanelle.

Misty found joy in life's simple blessings. She enjoyed fishing, camping, crafting, and spending time with her family. She loved being a mother and absolutely adored being a "Mimi". Misty never met a stranger, and was known for her warm smile, even through her darkest days.

She was preceded in death by her father, James A. Powell; her grandmother, Anita A. Carter; and her uncles, Billy J. McCulley and Robbie G. McCulley.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 26 years, James Pierce; her daughter, Cassie Pierce; her son, Caden Pierce, both of Dardanelle, Arkansas; and her stepson, Harrison Martin of Simms, Texas. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Denver Andrew, Lacey Martin, and Jesse Rose Martin.

Misty is further survived by her mother, Patricia A. Seale, and stepfather, James H. Seale of Atlanta, Texas; her siblings Tammy (Guy) Wheaton of Dardanelle, Arkansas; Donna (Charlie) McLean of Winnsboro, Texas; and Chris (Kim) Powell of Atlanta, Texas; along with many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, from 3:00pm-5:00pm, at Queen City Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 23, at 12:00pm, at Queen City Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Courtland Cemetery.
