Mary Medzie Obituary
She was born December 5, 1937, in Moshannon, PA, the daughter of Harry Harrison Lucas and Carrie E. (Meeker) Lucas.
Mary worked at Carlisle Industries for 30 years. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society in Windham. Mary loved baking, cooking, feeding people and doing what she could to help others.
She is survived by her children, Edward J. Medzie, Jr. of Champion, OH, Mary Ann Park of Snow Shoe, PA, Mark (Kay) Medzie of Champion, OH, and Deborah (Pete) Urick of Warren, OH; brother, George Lucas; sisters, Margaret "Maggie" Reynolds and Margaret Spicer; twelve grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Medzie, Sr.; and fourteen brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Sager Memorial Park, Bristolville, Ohio.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

My heart, thoughts and prayers goes to all of the family! My daughter, Samantha and I both loved her very much!!!! She was family to us. Grandma Medzie or Ma is what she´ll always be remembered by us. I am so sorry that I was unable to make it to Ohio to visit her and all of you.
