Lola Blais Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home on Feb. 27, 2026.
TILTON ---- Lola May (Kenney) Blais, aged 80, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH.

Born on May 26, 1945, in Biddeford, Maine, Lola was the daughter of the late John Rockwell and Kathleen Ann (Brown) Kenney. She was raised on the family-owned Kenney farm in Loudon, NH, as one of seven siblings, and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1963. Over the years, Lola became mother of three wonderful children and worked for various companies, including Suncook Leather, Inc., State Farm Insurance, and Lake City Auto Body, before retiring in 2020.

Lola will be remembered not only for her impressive accounting talent but also for her vibrant personality. Her love of dancing radiated joy and she cherished her ritual of an early morning breakfast at the Water Street Café. When she wasn't at home, she could often be found enjoying a round of golf with her Pheasant Ridge Golf Club family. She was an avid golfer and regularly took part in the ladies' state tournaments as a member of the New Hampshire Women's Golf Association.

She held a profound affection for her family, particularly treasuring the annual autumn sisterhood getaways in Wells, ME, which were always filled with joyful memories and delightful stories. Her friends and family cherished the moments spent with her and the beautifully knitted items she would often give during the holiday season. Guided by her faith, Lola exuded grace, warmth and kindness, and effortlessly forged connections with everyone she met.

Lola is survived by her husband of 32 years, Wayne Blais; daughter Kristine (Zinn) Davenport and her husband Todd; son Dirk Zinn and his significant other Christara Saini; son David Relf and his wife Paige; stepson Gary Blais and his wife Ellen; and daughter-in law Paula (Gagnon) Blais, wife of the late Wayne Blais Jr. She also leaves behind her sister Jacquelyn (Kenney) Eckhardt; brother Allan Kenney and his wife Mary; sister Ilene (Kenney) Landry and her husband Philip; sister-in-law Brenda (Blais) Kenney, wife of the late Claude Kenney; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Pauline (Kenney) Locke and her husband Donald; brother Byron Kenney; brother Claude Kenney; brother-in-law Charles Eckhardt; and stepson Wayne Blais Jr.

There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.

In loving memory of Lola, donations can be made to the Family Bible Church of Loudon, 676 Loudon Ridge Road, Loudon, N.H.

My condolences to Lola´s family and friends. I knew the whole family from Loudon Ridge. I went to school with Lola and her siblings. They were a very hard working family. I still have great memories of our times together. She´s definitely an angel that has her wings. RIP Lady

I golfed with Lola years ago at Pheasant Ridge.
She was such a sweet lady.
