MUNCIE - Linda Sue Denny Ridge, 68, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 after a battle with cancer and dementia.
Linda was born on November 20, 1954 in Anderson. She was the oldest of ten children. Following graduation in 1973, she joined the Army National Guard. She was proud to have served our Country.
Throughout her life she worked in Food Service Management where she mentored and invested in many young lives. She later retired from Community Hospital of Anderson as a Surgical Instrument Tech.
She is survived by her daughter, Christina Banter (Rob Conner); son, Rodney Ridge (Tammy); granddaughters, Lauren and Olivia Banter, Tara, Payton, and Lexie Ridge and great granddaughters, Tinsley Jones and baby Tristyn Jones expected in September; her brothers, Jim Denny (Jeannie), Bill Denny (Laurie) and Rex Craig (Patty); her sisters, Anna Marie Hinton (Ron), Cathy Wallace (John), Mary Everman, Angela Eastman (Brent) and Glenda Ingalls (James); lifelong friends, Tracie Mullens, Lisa Stublar and Chad Collins; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Estella and Glen Craig; her sister, Lee Ann Lehman-Roberts; her nephew, Dustin Lehman; her cousin, Bobby Harmon; and her brother- in- law, Jim Everman.
Linda didn't know a stranger. She would make sure everyone felt loved and welcomed. Reminiscing about her glory days and sharing all her life's wisdom were some of her favorite ways to pass the time. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a future date.
