Jessica Senese Obituary

Jessica Maria Carter Senese, 78, of Pawleys Island, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was born on April 3, 1947 in Manhattan, New York to the late Lawrence and Jane (Ruth) Carter. Along with her parents, Jessica is reunited in passing with her husband Vincent Senese. Her cousin Anne McGrath of Odessa, Florida- survives her.

Jessica was a graduate of Bronxville High School Class of 1965 and went on to further her education at George Washington University with a degree in education. She taught middle school at St. Patrick's Catholic School in New York. Later in her career she worked as an E.M.S. Technician in Florida. She and her husband Vincent owned and operated a Gulf Stream Sport Fishing Boat in Miami Beach, which took many people over the years on fishing and sightseeing excursions as well as many young children and their families through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Jessica was a woman of prayer and faithful witness to Christ rooted in her Catholic faith. She was very involved in her local parish at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, serving in ministry through the PBOC Women's Club, at morning Mass and rosary and in the local Pro-Life ministries and Cursillo movement. Her friends and neighbors will fondly remember Jessica for her thoughtfulness in prayer for them and their loved ones. She also loved animals, crossword puzzles, reading and playing Bingo with friends.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 20, at 8:30 a.m. at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church located at 1633 Waverly Road in Pawleys Island, South Carolina followed by interment at the Parish Columbarium. All friends and neighbors are invited.
