Jennette Morgan, a cherished soul whose life was marked by her artistic passion and unwavering devotion to her family, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, at the Foremost Care Center in Sharon. Born in the quaint town of
Edgartown, Massachusetts, Jennette's journey through life was one of love, creativity, and faith.
Raised in the place of her birth, Jennette's formative years were spent amidst the scenic beauty and tight-knit community of Edgartown. She carried the spirit of her hometown with her as she later resided in Randolph and Dedham, eventually settling in Canton in 1952. It was here that Jennette's heart found its true calling as a beloved wife to her late husband, Robert Morgan, and as a nurturing mother to her children, Timothy & Holly, and the late Jack and Robert M. Morgan Jr.
Jennette's life was a testament to the power of simple pleasures. Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in the delicate art of cross-stitching, the transformative magic of pottery, and the radiant beauty of stained glass and copper plating. Her creative endeavors were not just hobbies but a reflection of her innermost self, a legacy of beauty that she leaves behind in each carefully crafted piece.
Her commitment to her faith was as steadfast as her love for her family. As a dedicated member of the Congregational Church of Canton since 1959, Jennette's spiritual life was a cornerstone of her existence. Her presence within the church community was a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
Jennette's passing leaves behind a family that adores her. She is survived by her loving children, Timothy Morgan of Canton, Holly J. Moran of Dighton, and the late Jack Morgan and Robert Morgan Jr.. The memory of Jennette will also be cherished by her late siblings, Beverly, Raymond, and Jack Butman, who preceded her in death, as did her dear husband, Robert.
To have known Jennette Morgan was to have known a woman of grace, a matriarch whose life was a canvas upon which she painted a portrait of love, artistry, and faith. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, her creations, and the community that she held so dear. As we bid farewell to Jennette, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul that will continue to inspire long after her departure from this world.
