Delores Warrick Obituary

Delores Rebecca Hermann was born August 17, 1931 in Scranton, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Reinhard and Louise (Graff) Hermann. Delores grew up on the family farm near Ralph, South Dakota and attended the Mud Butte country school. Delores grew up enjoying the farm and ranch life, gardening and farming with her mom and dad. She was united in marriage to Bob Warrick. Two sons were born to this union: Donald and Duane. Following their marriage, Bob and Delores moved to Belle Fourche, in December of 1961. In 1972 the family moved to Rapid City where Delores worked at a Dry-Cleaning business. She also worked as an assistant cook at the Canyon Lake Club. In 1975 they moved to Gillette, where they purchased the City Cleaners. Delores owned and operated that with Bob until 1992. Bob died in 1988. In 1992, Delores moved to St. Onge, Rapid City in 2000, and Spearfish in 2004. For the past few years she has lived in Rapid City to be closer to her son Duane.

Delores was a life member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Eagle’s Auxiliary. She was a long time member of the Wesleyan Church in Belle Fourche. She loved embroidery, reading books, and playing card games and board games with family and friends.

Delores died age the age of 94 on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Avantara Mountain View Medical Center. She is survived by her son, Duane (Holly Steele) Fink of Rapid City; grandchildren, Katie Fink and Michael Dyer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Donald; infant granddaughter, Sandi Fink; brother Gene Hermann; and sister, Darlene Linneman.

Visitation will be held 10am to 11:30am on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025 at Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche.  Interment will take place following, at 12:30pm, at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis.
